From 10 March onwards, you must book your seat using the Mbus app

From Monday 10 March 2025 onwards, the Shuttle Bus (Pendelbus) will switch to a new booking platform. From then on, you must book your seat on the Shuttle Bus directly using the Mbus app. Do you use the Shuttle Bus for your commute? If so, download the Mbus app for free now from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone), register and provide the ID code you receive to the relevant person within your company.

Only that way can you be linked as a commuter and book your rides. So don't wait too long – install the app and register today. Check out the handy tutorial here.

Please note: nothing will change for rides up to and including Sunday 9 March 2025. You can simply book those using the application on the Shuttle Bus (Pendelbus) website.

De Waaslandhaven, als onderdeel van de haven van Antwerpen-Brugge, vormt een van de motoren van de Vlaamse economie, goed voor 22.453 VTE’s (voltijdse equivalenten) die er rechtstreeks tewerkgesteld zijn. Al deze medewerkers zijn voor hun woon-werkverkeer vooral aangewezen op eigen vervoer, vermits het havengebied momenteel beperkt bediend wordt door het openbaar vervoer. DeWaterbus, ook openbaar vervoer, verbindt de haven met de Stad Antwerpen, Kruibeke en vaart zelfs tot Hemiksem. Voor wie uit die omgeving met de fiets komt werken in de Waaslandhaven, is dit een goed alternatief. Zeker wanneer de eindhalte dicht tegen de bedrijfslocatie ligt. Maar voor wie vanuit Sint-Niklaas, Stekene, Zwijndrecht, Beveren, Melsele of Kieldrecht naar de Waaslandhaven moet, is DeWaterbus geen optie. Voor hen is de Pendelbus een goedkope en duurzame manier om tot bij de bedrijven in de Waaslandhaven te geraken”, Boudewijn Vlegels, voorzitter MLSO.
