Direct employment fell sharply: there were 1,436 fewer full-time equivalents (FTEs) in employment compared to 2023. This is evident from the results of the survey conducted annually by Maatschappij Linkerscheldeoever (MLSO) among companies in the Port on the left bank of the Scheldt (Waaslandhaven).
